MAHAP is the Michigan chapter to the National Association of Healthcare Access Management (NAHAM). MAHAP is committed to promoting excellence in the management of patient access in health care delivery.
MAHAP also provides timely, accessible and meaningful, educative and interactive opportunities to meet the patient access service challenges of today. Patient access services include Revenue Cycle activities such as registration, insurance verification and financial clearance, outpatient and inpatient appointment scheduling, patient financial counseling, point-of-service collections, bed management, and guest relations.
